1/17/12 – RECITAL SERIES – Ms. Spehar will be featured on SUNDAY, JANUARY 29th at 3:30 pm in recital at Church of the Holy City in Washington, D.C. as a part of the Swedenborg Center’s “Music with the Angels” concert series. Free Admission. Program to include works by Ravel, Southard (*world premiere), and Rachmaninoff. Joined by guest artists Francis Liu, violin and Jessica Stitt, piano.

9/2/11 CONCERTO ANNOUNCEMENT – Ms. Spehar will join the University of Maryland’s percussion ensemble on December 5th, 2011 to perform Tan Dun’s Elegy – Snow In June, a piece commemorating the massacre at Tiananmen Square. For additional concert information, please visit the calendar page.

6/14/11 – JULY 23rd – Natalie will be joining composer and pianist Malek Jandali for a special performance in front of The White House! Performance will be broadcast on NPR, CSPAN, and other major networks.

2/14/11 – ADDITIONAL FILM FESTIVAL NEWS & IMDB– ”Test Anxiety,” a short film by Bob Deaver, music by Natalie Spehar, has been accepted to the San Francisco Bay Area Children’s Festival as well as the Phoenix Film Festival. In addition, it is now listed on IMDB! :)

2/10/11 – KENNEDY CENTER – Natalie will be featured as a soloist in The Difference Engine, a triple concerto composed by Graham Reynolds, on the Millennium Stage of the Kennedy Center. She will also appear with the Low End String Quartet in works by Jonathan Morris, guitarist of the LESQ. February 15, 6pm.

11/14/10 – RECITAL ANNOUNCEMENT – Natalie and several other Eastman School of Music students/alum will be featured in an special “Informance” event hosted by the Canton MacDowell Music Club on January 15th, 2011! The performance will include works by Claude Debussy, William Albright, Libby Larsen and Johannes Brahms, and will be followed by a question and answer session with the artists.
